Flowers Galleries

More Flowers & Wildflowers : July - August 2008. I enjoy flowers & taking pictures of them. I enjoy flowers that don't take a lot of care & I am trying to plant those kinds around the house. The wildflowers are fun, because it seems there is beauty to be found there, even if it is a weed. There is something to be admired in a weed - it thrives in harsh conditions & is very deeply rooted. I still can't pull up all the Yarrow growing in the grass & my coreopsis!

Flowers, Wildflowers & Weeds : The next installment of flowers, wildflowers & weeds - May & June 2008. Most are from the reclamation area, the edge of the woods & our yard. Having fun: several I used my close up conversion lens on my H1 & then cropped to get in even closer.

Spring Flowers & Wildflowers : Spring (April) 2008. I used both of my cameras on these shots. The H1 has the close up conversion lens, which I love to use. I had so many pictures already, so I am going to limit this gallery to just what I've taken in April.

Leah's Rose : Leah Glick gave me one of the miniature roses she grows. It had a nice fragrance as it opened up. The vase is one I brought back from Canterbury, England, from a trip we made in 1991. The shots were taken with my close-up conversion lens.
