Fireworks : June 21, 2008. There is a league of kids baseball/softball nearby. Usually the week or two before the 4th of July they have their awards & a fireworks show. We have learned that when they do the fireworks there is no going to bed. The sound echoes off the woods. It is very loud & shakes the house. It cannot be drowned out. So, we get our lawn chairs out, mosquito spray on & stay up & enjoy the show. With Indiana now being on Eastern Daylight Saving Time, it isn't dark enough for fireworks until 10pm! My H9 has a setting for shooting fireworks, so I had to try it out, right? Right.

Macro Fun 2008 : Some of the more interesting macro shots I've taken. I am sure I'll be adding to this as I am outside more & fine interesting subjects to use my close up lens on. Which one is your favorite? Unless noted, all shots taken with my Sony DSC-H1 with close-up conversion lens & edited with Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006

Being Creative : Having fun editing pictures, trying different filters, colors, etc. What can be done with digital pictures is quite fun. The editing software I use is "Microsoft Digital Image 2006 Suite." I have two cameras, They are Sony DSC-H1 or H9. Enjoy! Come back occasionally to see what else I have added.
